Buhari orders immigration service to improve border patrol

President Mohammed Buhari has given s new directive to the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS with a view to tacking security problems in the country.

Thus was disclosed by the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmed  on his Twitter account.

Acccording to the presidential aide, the President has directed the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to ratchet up surveillance and control around the nation’s borders.

Bashir also disclosed that the NIS  has also been directed to double efforts  towards ensuring that criminals don’t find Nigeria as a hot-bed perpetuate their criminality.

“President Muhammadu Buhari today, in Abuja directed the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to improve surveillance and control around the nation’s borders.

“The President also urged the service to ensure that criminal elements don’t find Nigeria a safe haven to hide and perpetrate their criminality,” he said.
