The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has got a positive rating in a recent poll on the performance of government ministries, departments and agencies under the current administration.
The agency received a rating of 65% in the poll conducted by NOI Polls, a country-specific polling service in the West African region, which is in technical partnership with Gallup to develop opinion research in Nigeria.

Emmanuel Okeh, the Public relations Officer of NSCDC, said that the agency, under the leadership of its Commandant-General, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu, was able to achieve this through its drive on zero tolerance to corruption, credibility, efficiency, humility and integrity in service delivery.

Gana, therefore, urged NSCDC personnel to always adhere to the slogan of “Collect bribe and die, compromise and be kidnapped,” as a guiding principle in the discharge of their duties believing that various eyes were on them and there was a need to maintain standard as second best was not good for the agency.
