He said: “I have watched the so called new report released by the CNN and it says nothing new. It didn’t show anything we haven’t seen or known. It is a rehash of the same things we know.

“Where are the bodies if indeed there was a massacre? Only an answer to that question will be new evidence. If anything at all, this latest report shows that CNN is grasping at straws out of sheer desperation.”

Mohamed also said that the CNN Vice President in charge of Communications at. CNN headquarters in Atlanta, Mr Jonathan Hawkins has responded to the letter written to him by the Federal Government.

“He thanked us for the letter and said it had been passed on to the Editorial Team.

“We await action on the letter. However, as we said in the letter, that does not stop us from doing whatever it takes, under our laws, to prevent CNN from setting our country on fire with its irresponsible, one-sided reporting.

“Our options are many, but we will keep our options close to our chest,” he said
