The weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting is ongoing in the office of President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha.
According to President Buhari’s Media Aide, Garba Shehu, this is due to some technical setback at the Council Chambers.
A minute silence was held in honour of former Vice President, Alex Ekwueme, who died on Sunday.
Buhari led other council members, including the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Ministers and top government officials, to accord the deceased the honour.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, had at the commencement of the weekly meeting formally informed members of Ekwueme’s death.
