The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, has said that Fulanis, most especially the ones living in his kingdom are not criminals.
.Oba Akanbi made this disclosure when he paid a courtesy visit to some Fulanis in their settlements on Friday.
He added that they there are many good Fulani people, saying that he would educate and re-oriente the ones that have berserk among them.
Acccording to him, some became criminals as a result of of decades of neglect in the Southwest.
According to him, “When you do not care about people living in abject poverty around you, without helping or checking that girl child coming out of the forest selling local cheese and those small boys rearing cattle from 6 a.m till evening.”
“If someone resides in the forest for so long, there is possibility that they may start behaving irrationally if not properly put in check”, he added.
The first class monarch rassured all non-indigenes residing in Iwo land that he would not discriminate against anybody
