The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris, are currently holding a meeting behind closed doors.
The meeting which was held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the nation’s capital, may be connected to the security situation at the National Assembly.
The Advocate reports that security officials had on Tuesday morning stormed the premises of the National Assembly barricading the entrance to the complex.
Lawmakers and members of staff of the National Assembly were prevented from entering the premises.
Journalists were also barred from entering the complex as a result of what the DSS allegedly said is an order “from above.”
Also in attendance at the meeting with the Acting President is the former DSS Boss, Lawal Musa Daura.
