Residents flee home as Boko Haram attacks Gulak in Adamawa

Boko Haram terrorist have attacked a community in Adamawa, Gulak, the headquarters of Madagali Local Government Area  in the state.

The Adamawa State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh said that Gulak is right now under siege and is under attack by the Boko Haram terrorists. (at the time of this report)

According to him, the Military is currently engaging the insurgents and they are being assisted by the vigilante group and the hunters association.

Spreading gunshot can be heard all around the town.

Residents are however in panic as they have vacated the town and are hiding in the bushes, mountains, and hills.

Sajoh says the state government is monitoring the situation.
