Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Mazi Kanu, has described the call by Northern Elders Forum, NEF, that South East should be allowed to seperate  from Nigeria as sensible.

Recalled that the northern group had suggested on Tuesday that Nigeria is heading towards anarchy due to agitations

NEF on Tuesday said that it has reviewed events and tendencies which suggest that the country is headed for more crises amid the agitations for Biafra, security challenges, among others.

Acccording to the group, citizens now live in fear of attacks.

In his reaction Kanu said, “Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has said in other to prevent another civil war, the Southeast should be allowed to secede if the movement is popular among the people in the region’

“Now, that’s very sensible but there’s a correction: #Biafra includes what you call SouthSouth.”

Reacting on a report by Global Terrorism Index that rated Nigerian herdsmen as fourth most deadliest terrorist group, Kanu said, “Until @NigeriaGov proscribe Miyetti Allah, Fulani Terror Herdsmen, Al-Queda in the Maghreb, Islamic State in West Africa Province & Ansaru, as terrorist organisations, the world won’t take @NGRPresident serious.

“The world is aware that #Nigeria is a terror enabling.”
