Constitution amendment: Buhari signs four new bills into law

President Buhari is being accused of complicity in the reinstatement of Abdulrasheed Maina via a leaked memo from the Head of Service, Winifred Oyo-Ita.

Muhammadu Buhari, the President of Nigeria has granted financial autonomy to state judiciaries and Houses of Assembly.

Also today (Friday), the President signed a total of four bills into law as part of the amendments of the 1999 Constitution.

One of the bills which is now an Act, gives the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), sufficient time to conduct bye-elections.
