The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu on Tuesday, explained why he jumped bail and fled Nigeria.
Speaking during the continuation of his trial, he said that his house was unlawfully invaded by security operatives with his life seriously threatened.
He made this remark during his trial before Justice Binta Murtala Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He noted that he would have been killed along with others on the day of the invasion if he still stayed in the country then
Justice Nyako later remanded Nnamadi Kanu at DSS custody as he trial continues.
