Offa bank robbery: Saraki receives letter from Police, to make defence in writing

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki has confirmed receiving the a letter from the Police asking asking him to make his defence in writing and not to appear before Police authorities.

The Public Relations Officer ofn the Force, Jimoh Moshood had on Sunday said Saraki should make himself at the force headquarters in in Ilorin, Kwara State over the offa bank robbery which left over twenty people dead.

Saraki took to his social media platforms to make the announcement.

“Following my earlier tweet, I have received the letter from @PoliceNG. They are no longer asking me to appear at any station, but to respond in writing to the allegations within 48 hours, which I plan to do,”he wrote.
