The Department of State Services (DSS) has said it never ordered withdrawal of security details of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker House of Representatives,Yakubu Dogara.

The Advocate quoted TheCable which reported that Saraki’s details and that of Dogara were withdrawn following allegations of sponsoring suspected masterminds of Offa bank robbery.

However, the Spokesperson of the Service, Nnanna Nnochiri, said that the Service never issued such directive.

“I can tell you authoritatively that the service never gave such directive,” Nnochiri told Sun News.

“For emphasis, we have not withdrawn neither are we planning to withdraw our personnel in the security details of the two presiding officers of the National Assembly. There is no iota of truth in that report,” Nnanna added.
