The Lagos State government has revealed that the country’s commercial capital now has about 30, 221 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the state.
This was disclosed on Friday by the state’s Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle,
Acccording to him, 570 new COVID-19 infections were confirmed in the state alone on December 30, 2020, increasing the state’s tally to 30,221.
He also revealed that that a total of 219, 664 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the state since the disease outbreak.
“Total number of #COVID19 recovery in communities- 22,789.
“Cases currently under isolation-115, active cases under home-based care are 4,176,” he said.
